Scope of Insurance
Our shipment insurance applies to:
- Domestic and international shipments handled by LogioXpress
- Parcels, freight consignments, and specialized cargo
- Goods damaged during transit, handling, or unforeseen operational incidents
- Theft or misplacement occurring while the shipment is in our custody
Coverage applies from the time the shipment is officially accepted until delivery is completed, subject to policy terms.
Insurance Options
Customers may select the level of coverage that best fits their needs:
Basic Coverage
Standard protection against loss or damage, with predefined compensation limits.
Extended Coverage
Higher declared value limits and protection for fragile or high-value goods.
Comprehensive Coverage
Broad protection including coverage for extreme handling risks, natural disasters, and specialized cargo categories (subject to approval).
Insurance must be selected at the time of booking.
How to File a Claim
In the event of loss or damage:
- Notify LogioXpress customer support immediately upon discovery.
- Provide shipment details, including tracking number, declared value, and description of contents.
- Submit supporting documentation such as photographs, invoices, delivery notes, and packaging evidence.
- Our claims team will review the case and communicate the outcome promptly.
Claims must be submitted within the specified reporting timeframe to remain valid.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure eligibility for coverage, customers must:
- Accurately declare the shipment value during booking
- Properly package goods to prevent avoidable damage
- Inspect shipments upon delivery and report any issues immediately
- Provide complete and truthful documentation during the claims process
Failure to comply may affect claim approval.
Limitations & Exclusions
Insurance coverage does not apply to:
- Undisclosed or misdeclared goods
- Damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the sender
- Acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government seizure
- Normal wear and tear or minor cosmetic damage
- Prohibited or restricted items not approved for transport
